Notes to H.R. Pufnstuf (894)

	Mark as Spam Kat Pirch : 07/31/2009 10:50 AM OMGGGGGGG. Damn wrist bands. Like, ugh. In the morning, before security was really cranky, we got to get really close to the bands backstage in the ampitheatre. Like, I could high five Meg and Dia's drummer. However, I decided not to. For the Hurley stage, or whatever that stage was, I called it the blow up stage, we could go back by the little ramp to get on stage, but we weren't allowed on the stage unless we were (MAJOR USE OF AIR QUOTES HERE) personal friends of the band. We saw TAT there, which was okay because no one else was backstage, so we could see them just fine. But for The Maine, they also let all the purple wristband kids backstage, which could be perfectly described as a fucking horde of insane children. Luckily, we got there earlier, and befriended two of the rather sane purple wristband kids and got the best view. So after a while, people decided to mob the stage and try to get up there and break the rules, I mean, I did too because we were all, it's the last show of the day, so if we get kicked out, it doesn't really matter at all. As a result, the purple kids were ousted, but we were allowed to stay. It was then that all the PERSONAL FRIENDS went on stage and blocked our view, so we ended up standing in the front row at the very edge of the barricade where all the crowd surfers came out. We got a really good view. OH, and I was quite upset as there were these total band sluts with the same passes we had at every set we were at coincidentally, and they got on stage somehow. We just accepted the fact that they may or may not have been distantly related to Kevin L. So, I would tell you the rest of my stories about The Maine and meeting John Ohh, but I might exceed note capacity. I'll just have to blog about it all.
